Sporting fortunes

Very contrasting sporting events that will be taking part this weekend were covered on the media here in Ireland this week. First off there is the Ryder Cup being held for the first time in Ireland. Ireland (ranked 5th) also have a team in the Homeless World Cup (HWC) being held in South Africa. The Ryder Cup is not available on free TV in Ireland but the HWC will organise a webcam so we have an opportunity to watch live. Scotland has female player (Lyndsay Cooper) which also says a lot about the contrasting sporting fortunes. Com'on Ireland.
